ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਜਨਮ 15 ਜੁਲਾਈ 1993 ਨੂੰ ਪਿੰਡ chuslewar ਪੱਟੀ( ਅਮ੍ਰਿਤਸਰ) ਵਿੱਚ ਪਿਤਾ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਲਵਿੰਦਰ ਸਿੰਘ (ਸ਼ਿੰਦਾ) ਦੇ ਘਰ ਹੋਇਆ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੇ ਜੱਸੇ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਜੱਸਕਨਵਰ ਸਿੰਘ ਰੱਖਿਆ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਚ ਜੱਸੇ ਤੋ ਇਲਾਵਾ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਇੱਕ ਵੱਡੇ ਭਰਾ ਵੀ ਹੈ ਜੋ ਇਸ ਵਕਤ ਕੈਨੇਡਾ ਦੇ ਵਿੱਚ ਰਹਿ ਰਹੇ ਹਨ ਜੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਜਨਮ ਤੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਰਾ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਤਰਨ ਤਾਰਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਆ ਕੇ ਵੱਸ ਗਿਆ ਜਿਥੋਂ ਤੇ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੀ 10th ਤੱਕ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਪਬਲਿਕ ਸਕੂਲ ਤੋ ਕੀਤੀ ਤੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਰਾਮਗੜ੍ਹੀਆ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋ ਕੀਤੀ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਹੁਤ ਤੇਜ਼ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੀ ਉਹ ਕ੍ਰਿਕਟ ਤੇ ਫੁੱਟਬਾਲ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਰੁੱਚੀ ਰੱਖਦਾ ਸੀ ਪਰ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਇੱਕ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਰਹਿ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਸਨ ਤੇ ਸ਼ਿੰਦਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਮ ਨਾਲ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਸਨ ਛੋਟੇ ਹੁੰਦਿਆਂ ਜੱਸਾ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਜੀ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਦੇ ਘੋਲ ਦੇਖਣ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਸੀ ਜਿਸ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨੀ ਦਾ ਸ਼ੌਂਕ ਵੀ ਪੈ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਜੱਸਾ ਵੱਡਾ ਹੋਇਆ ਉਸਨੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਖੇਡਾਂ ਵਿੱਚੋ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨੀ ਨੂੰ ਚੁਣਿਆ 13-14 ਸਾਲ ਦੀ ਉਮਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਦੰਗਲ ਲੜਨੇ ਸ਼ੁਰੂ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੇ ਸੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਦੀ ਸਿੱਖਿਆ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਆਪਣੇ ਪਿਤਾ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਾਗਿਰਦ ਭਾਨੇ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਤੋ ਲਈ ਸਕੂਲ ਚ ਪੜ੍ਹਦੇ ਸਮੇਂ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ under 17 ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਟੇਟ ਚ ਗੋਲਡ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਕੁਝ ਸੱਟਾਂ ਲੱਗਣ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨੀ ਤੋ ਦੂਰ ਰਹਿਣਾ ਪਿਆ 3-4 ਸਾਲ ਬਾਅਦ ਸਾਲ 2015 ਚ ਵਾਪਸੀ ਕਰਨ ਤੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਕੁਰੂਕਸ਼ੇਤਰ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਇੰਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਬ੍ਰਾਉਨਜ ਤਗਮਾ ਜਿੱਤਿਆ ਫ਼ਿਰ ਸਾਲ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਮਹਿਸੂਰ ਕਰਨਾਟਕਾ ਵਿੱਚ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਇੰਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗੋਲਡ ਮੈਡਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤਾ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਤੇ ਗੱਦਿਆਂ ਦੋਨੋ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀਆਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਾਹਿਰ ਹੈ ਹੁਣ ਤੱਕ ਜੱਸਾ 2000 ਤੋ ਵੀ ਵੱਧ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀਆਂ ਲੜ ਚੁੱਕਾ ਹੈ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਭਾਰਤ ਦੇ ਕਈ ਵੱਡੇ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਵੀ ਹਰਾਏ 2016 ਵਿੱਚ ਆਲ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਇੰਟਰ ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਮੈਡਲ ਜਿੱਤਣ ਤੋ ਬਾਅਦ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਂਸਟੇਬਲ ਭਰਤੀ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅੱਜ ਤੱਕ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ 1 ਕਰੋੜ ਤੋ ਵੱਧ ਦਾ ਨਕਦ ਇਨਾਮ 20 ਤੋ ਵੱਧ ਬੁਲਟ 60-70 ਦੂਜੇ ਮੋਟਰ ਸਾਈਕਲ 60-70 ਮੱਝਾ 4 ਗੱਡੀਆਂ 2 ਟਰੈਕਟਰ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਸੋਨੇ ਦੀਆਂ ਚੈਨਾ ਤੇ ਮੁੰਦੀਆਂ ਆਪਣੀ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਨਾਲ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕਰੀਆਂ ਹਨ ਪਿੱਛੇ ਜਿਹੇ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਟਰਵਿਊ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਇੱਕ ਅਜਿਹਾ ਸਮਾ ਆਇਆ ਜਦੋ ਸੱਟਾ ਦੇ ਕਾਰਣ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਤੋ ਦੂਰ ਹੋਣਾ ਪਿਆ ਤੇ ਕਈ ਲੋਕ ਜੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਪਰਿਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਕਹਿਣ ਲੱਗ ਗਏ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਹੁਣ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਇਸਦੇ ਵਸ ਦੀ ਗੱਲ ਨਹੀਂ ਇਹਨੂੰ ਬਾਹਰ ਭੇਜ ਦਉ ਪਰ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੇ ਹਿੰਮਤ ਨਾ ਹਾਰੀ ਤੇ ਮੁੜ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰ ਸਭ ਦਾ ਮੂੰਹ ਬੰਦ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਇੱਕ ਹੋਰ ਘਟਨਾ ਜੱਸੇ ਦੀ ਜ਼ਿੰਦਗੀ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜੀ ਹੋਈ ਹੈ ਗੱਲ ਉਦੋਂ ਦੀ ਹੈ ਜਦੋ ਜੱਸਾ ਇੱਕ ਇੰਟਰਨੈਸ਼ਨਲ ਰੈਸਲਿੰਗ ਮੈਚ ਖੇਡਣ ਟਰਕੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਗਿਆ ਸੀ ਜਿੱਥੇ ਜੱਸੇ ਨੂੰ ਰੈਫਰੀ ਦੁਬਾਰਾ ਸਿਰ ਤੇ ਪਟਕਾ ਬੰਨ ਕੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਤੋ ਰੋਕ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜੱਸੇ ਪੱਟੀ ਵੱਲੋ ਰੈਫਰੀ ਨੂੰ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਬਹੁਤ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਤੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਿੱਖ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਜੁੜਿਆ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਮੇੈਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਧਰਮ ਦੇ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਨਹੀਂ ਜਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਮਝਾਉਣ ਤੇ ਵੀ ਰੈਫਰੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਮੰਨਿਆ ਤੇ ਇਹਨਾਂ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ Rule ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਦੱਸ ਕੇ ਜੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਖਿਲਾਫ ਲੜ ਰਹੇ ਯੂਕ੍ਰੇਨ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਨੂੰ ਜੇਤੂ ਕਰਾਰ ਦੇ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਜੱਸੇ ਪੱਟੀ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕੇ ਉਹ ਮੈਂਨੂੰ ਪਟਕਾ ਉਤਾਰ ਕੇ ਖੇਡਣ ਨੂੰ ਕਿਹ ਰਹੇ ਸੀ ਤੇ ਇੱਕ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੋਣ ਦੇ ਨਾਤੇ ਮੈ ਏਹ ਸਭ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਤੇ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਖੇਡੇ ਹੀ ਵਾਪਸ ਆ ਗਿਆ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਦੇ ਨਾਲ ਹੋਏ ਇਸ ਵਤੀਰੇ ਕਾਰਨ ਕਈ ਭਾਰਤੀ ਮਿਨਿਸਟਰਾ ਨੇ ਆਪਣਾ ਗੁੱਸਾ ਜ਼ਾਹਿਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੇ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਮਾਮਲੇ ਲਈ ਰੈਸਲਿੰਗ ਫੈਡਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਆਫ ਇੰਡੀਆ ਨੂੰ wwf ਨਾਲ ਗੱਲ ਕਰਕੇ ਕੇ ਨਿਯਮਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਬਦਲਾਵ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ ਕਿਹਾ ਗਿਆ. ਅੱਜ ਵੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ , ਹਿਮਾਚਲ , ਯੂ ਪੀ, ਹਰਿਆਣਾ, ‘ਮਹਾਰਾਸ਼ਟਰ ਤੇ ਗੁਜਰਾਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਮਸ਼ਹੂਰ ਹੈ ਤੇ ਇਸ ਮਿੱਟੀ ਦੀ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਦਾ ਸਟਾਰ ਹੈ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਪਹਿਲਵਾਨ ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਸਭ ਤੋ ਵੱਡੇ ਇਨਾਮ ਆਪਣੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀਤੇ ਨੇ. ਜਿੱਥੇ ਵੀ ਜੱਸਾ ਪੱਟੀ ਦਾ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਦਾ ਘੋਲ ਹੋਣਾ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ ਵੱਡੀ ਗਿਣਤੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਜੱਸੇ ਦੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ੰਸਕ ਕੁਸ਼ਤੀ ਦੇਖਣ ਜਰੂਰ ਪਹੁੰਚ ਦੇ ਹਨ ਫੇਰ ਉਹ ਚਾਹੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਚ ਹੋਵੈ ਜਾ ਕਿਸੇ ਹੋਰ ਸੂਬੇ ਚ

Jassa Patti was born on July 15, 1993, in the village of Chuslewar Patti (Amritsar). His father’s name is Sardar Salwinder Singh (Shinda). The family named him Jassa Jaskanwar Singh Raksha. After the birth of Jassa, the whole family moved to Tarn Taran where Jassa Patti studied. Jassa studied from Delhi Public School till the 10th and did further studies from Ramgarhia College. He was intelligent from the starting.
He was also interested in cricket and football but Jassa Patti’s father was a wrestler and was known as Shinda Patti. As a child, Jassa used to go to see wrestling matches with his father. As Jassa grew up, he chose wrestling from these games at the age of 13-14.
Jassa had started wrestling. Jassa learned wrestling from his father’s disciple Bhane Pehalwan. While studying in school, Jassa won a gold medal in Punjab State under 17. Then Jassa had to stay away from wrestling due to some injuries. After returning in 2015, Jassa won a bronze medal at the All India Inter-University in Kurukshetra and then won at the All India Internship in Karnataka in the year 2016.
He won the gold medal at Inter-University Jassa specializes in both clay and mattress wrestling. So far Jassa has competed in more than 2000 wrestling events in which Jassa defeated many of India’s greatest wrestlers since winning a medal at the All India Inter-University in 2016. Later Jassa was recruited as a constable in Punjab Police. To date, Jassa has won a cash prize of over Rs. 1 crore, more than 20 bullets, 60-70 second motorcycles, 60-70 buffaloes, 4 vehicles, 2 tractors, and many gold chains.
In a recent interview, Jassa said that there was a time in his life when Jassa had to give up wrestling due to betting and many people started speaking that wrestling was no longer his thing. Jassa didn’t give up and worked hard to shut everyone’s mouth again.
He was stopped from playing with a ‘Patka’ and then, a difficult situation arrived in Jassa’s life when he tried hard to persuade the referee and said that it is connected with Sikhism and he can’t go against his religion but the referee did not accept even after explaining a lot. After it, the Ukrainian wrestler was declared the winner. Jassa Patti said “he was asking me to take off the ‘Patka’ and play and as a Sikh, I can’t do all this” and Jassa came back without playing. Many Indian ministers had expressed outrage over the move.
For the first case like this, the Wrestling Federation of India was asked to change the rules by talking to WWF. Even today, clay wrestling (Kabaddi) is popular in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, UP, Haryana, Maharashtra, and Gujarat and the star of this clay wrestling is Jassa Patti Pehalwan.
